Cover to cover in one sitting on a rainy afternoon. I would happily buy another title from this store.

Book synopsis
The residents of Chipping Cleghorn are jolted out of their morning routines when a peculiar notice appears in the local Gazette: a murder is scheduled to take place at Miss Blacklock’s home, Little Paddocks, at 6:30 p.m. While the neighbors assume it is a spirited 'murder game' and plan to attend out of curiosity, the hostess herself is baffled by the anonymous invitation. As the appointed hour approaches, the line between a social hoax and a deadly reality begins to blur. Miss Marple must navigate the polite facades of village life to uncover the truth behind this public announcement of crime.

The dialogue is sharp and never feels forced. Worth far more than what I paid.
