Exactly what I wanted

The pacing is tight and the characters actually feel like people. I will be looking for the author's other work.

Book synopsis
Adam Wright suffers from prosopagnosia, a rare neurological condition that prevents him from recognizing faces—including those of his own wife, Amelia. In a desperate final attempt to save their crumbling ten-year marriage, the couple travels from London to a remote, converted chapel in the snowy Scottish Highlands for a weekend getaway. However, as a brutal blizzard traps them in the eerie Blackwater Chapel, they quickly realize that the secrets they have kept from each other are more dangerous than the storm outside. Someone is lying, someone is watching, and their 'last chance' weekend might just be their final one.

Useful and readable, though I wanted more depth later on. I would read another by this author.
