Book synopsis
In the changing village of St. Mary Mead, Miss Jane Marple finds herself sidelined by age and the watchful eye of her companion, Miss Knight. While exploring the new housing 'Development' that has transformed her old-world home, she witnesses a chilling moment of hesitation between a young couple that suggests danger beneath the surface of modern life. As the landscape of her youth disappears, Miss Marple proves that while the houses may be new, human nature remains as predictable—and as potentially lethal—as ever.

The pacing is tight and the characters actually feel like people. Already added two more to my cart.

Better than expected
I read it twice, which I almost never do. Worth far more than what I paid.
