Book synopsis
In a gritty pocket of Los Angeles, a recurring darkness threatens the women of the streets who are often ignored by society. The narrative weaves together the voices of those who have survived, those who have been lost, and those left behind to pick up the pieces, starting with Feelia’s harrowing encounter in 1999. Years later, Dorian, a woman haunted by the murder of her daughter Lecia, finds the past bleeding into her present as a new shadow falls over the neighborhood. Through a series of interconnected perspectives, the novel explores the systemic indifference and personal resilience of women navigating a landscape of violence.
