Book synopsis
Veronika is a young woman who, despite being beautiful and seemingly normal, feels a profound lack of meaning in a world where every day is the same. On a cold afternoon in Ljubljana, she decides to end her life by taking an overdose of sleeping pills, only to wake up in Villette, a notorious and controversial mental hospital. There, she must confront the reality of her survival and the complex motives behind her desire to die. As she navigates this space between life and death, her story intertwines with the perspectives of those around her and the reflections of the author himself.

Not bad at all

The premise is stronger than the execution in a few chapters. No regrets about the purchase.
